O Mother, come like a radiant,

benificent cloud

through the pathway of the

open sky of my mind. -- Amma bhajan

Amma

One day the morning sun

will rise,

showering the heart

with rays of awakening,

The voice of love shall flow

as Divine nectar

and ceaselessly caress the earth.

In the veena of the silent heart,

the subtle melodies of sorrowful songs.

To make this garland of poetry an offering to you,

I thread it

again and again,

imperishable Goddess
